Dutch Healthcare Inspectorate
The Dutch Healthcare Inspectorate is an institution that supervises the public healthcare system in the Netherlands. Due to their control of the healthcare system, the Dutch citizens can enjoy a high quality of safe healthcare. How can we help them to maintain this high quality? Every year, all the Dutch health institutions have to hand in a financial statement to justify their expenses. The problem is that some institutions hand in their statement far too late. The past few years there is an increasing trend in the amount of institutions who don’t adhere to the statement deadline. Since these justifications are very important, the Dutch Healthcare Inspectorate would like to know what causes these companies to miss the target date. Could it be financial problems or do other variables play a role?
